The M58 0.5x Pro wide angle digital conversion lens is designed specially for users of digital and video cameras that demand additional wide angle digital still pictures. With a wide magnification factor of 0.5x, the lens enable you to capture 50% more of the maximum wide angle view into a single image, resulting in an overall field of view of approximate 90 degree. On top of the wide angle magnification, the rear lens can also be unscrewed from the main body to act as a macro lens for closeup photography.
Most often, due to the inbuilt wide angle lens limitation inherent in digital still and video camera, pictures taken at maximum wide angle are limited in coverage due to space constraint and therefore are not able to capture dynamic view of landscape, historical buildings or group photography within a foreground of beautiful mountain.
