The LCD panel protector for Nikon D40 is a custom laser cut to fit precisely the LCD panel on the camera body.

Besides offering hard protection for the LCD display, the LCD panel protector also protect the entire panel covered by borders. Viewing is not compromise as light tramission is >99% and the fact that the viewing surface is coated with an anti-scratch coating meant no unslightly scratches during picture review in the panel.
